This wine may prove the Malleco Valley to be the holy grail for Chilean Pinot Noir.
The cold climate during maturation gives this wine intense fruit aromas like cherries and red fruits. Thanks to aging in French oak barrels for ten months, the wine elegantly combines complexity, balance and fresh aromas.
Pairs well with a wide range of foods from game birds to grilled seafood.
Plenty of dark and ripe strawberry aromas with hints of walnut and chocolate. Full body, rich and fruity. For those who like fruit-driven pinot, yet shows a citrusy, bright acidity at the finish.James Suckling May 2016
This has a striking Burgundian profile with aromatic notes of sour cherries, pomegranate, blood oranges, cloves, nutmeg and hints of curry. The palate is light to medium-bodied with sharp flavors and texture, with very good acidity and freshness. I’m impressed with this Pinot Noir. This is a wine which has improved tremendously. The Wine Advocate June 2014
Medium red. Spicy redcurrant and dried cherry scents are complicated by dried rose and blood orange. Juicy and penetrating, offering lively red fruit liqueur flavors and a hint of smokiness. Finishes brisk, sweet and long, with silky tannins and lingering red fruit and floral notes.Vinous February 2014
