An elegant Andean Cabernet with purity of local Macul expression.
Nice ruby red color. Very elegant nose, combining fresh red fruit, cassis and spices. Nice structure and smooth on the palate, red fruit and a note of toasted oak. Soft and round tannins, very well balanced with a long aftertaste.
A great wine to pair with a hangar steak, roasted duck, or a juicy cheeseburger.
An elegant cabernet from Macul, in the Andean foothills within the city limits of Santiago, this wine offers radiant red fruit over firm, delicate tannins. This is Aquitania’s basic cabernet, yet it manages to show not only the style of the house, but also the traditional character of Macul.Wine & Spirits June 2018
A juicy and fruity wine with blackberry, plum and ripe fruit. Full body, round and velvety tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Fruit-forward style. Drink or hold.James Suckling May 2017
This is a light, ruby-colored style that, according to Ghislain de Gondolfier, has exactly the taste they want, with a light earthy touch and a little more austere than the majority of new world Cabernet Sauvignon. Of course, this wine had always had the input of Paul Pontallier from Bordeaux. What I like here is that this has very good freshness and a kind of brightness of fruit, red rather than black. It's soft and balanced, with very fine tannins. You can bite into it. Affordable, elegant and powerful. It's very good. The Wine Advocate April 2017
