Tasting Notes/Food Pairing Suggestions
The wine is distinctly marked by flavors and aromas of passion fruit, tangerine, lime, and freshly-mowed grass. It is bold without being considered aggressive. It has significant body and complexity (perhaps even more than the 2000 vintage), and it speaks of the very essence of Sauvignon Blanc. It can be enjoyed immediately or over the next few years, and it should be served chilled, but not "ice cold" to get the most out of the wonderful range of flavors. This is one that you will find yourself pulling out for any occasion involving fish, seafood, or straight-up with good friends.
