Cotes du Rhone. There is a lot of it "out there"--in the vineyards, on retail shelves, on bistro wine lists. But like the California gold rush days, some find traces of pyrite (fool's gold), and some find the mother lode.
There are many U.S. importers of Cotes du Rhone and Cotes du Rhone Villages, and many of these selections are good. Only a handful redefine the notion of Cotes du Rhone as one of the world's last remaining "incredible values". We predict that René-Emmanuel will put the Cotes du Rhone village of Valreas on the map, and its name on the lips of wine connoisseurs around the U.S.
These are wines for drinking, sharing, sipping, laughing, food pairing--but most of all for those of us who like to drink great wine while we are having fun.
