1999 Luca Cabernet Sauvignon: 93 Points. Deep, dark red. Smoky aromas of plum, raspberry, toffee and brown spices. Plush and smooth in the mouth, with sappy red berry and leather flavors intensified by integrated acidity. Seamless and suave, but with solid underlying structure. Finishes with dusty tannins and a whiplash of red berry and tobacco flavors. Gracefully made wine with impressive material.

1999 Luca Cabernet Sauvignon: 88 Points. A very pretty Cabernet , the smoky scent and flavor providing a delicate frame for the tangy cherry fruit. It's balanced and structured enough to age but delicious right now, especially with chicken cacciatore or other tomato-sauced dishes.
