Never been touched by the human hand, these Pais vines grow wildly in the trees next to the vineyards. 100% organic, 100% dry-farmed, 100% wild.
Vibrant notes of red fruits, cherry, and wild strawberry with floral notes. Fresh on the palate with good balance and a long, rustic finish.
Try it with barbeque and all types of sausage.
An unfiltered, very floral país that shows lots of hyacinth, fresh rose petals, blueberry muffin and nutmeg. Not only does this have great balance and tension between the fruit and acidity, but the fruit sits evenly across a firm bed of tannins that keep this chewy, quite structured but elegant. Drink now.James Suckling April 2019
The just-bottled 2018 País Salvaje was fermented with full clusters but without carbonic maceration, a change compared with the 2017, where part of the wine underwent carbonic maceration. It fermented in concrete and was bottled in August 2018, some four months after the harvest. 2018 seems like a great vintage in Maule (and in a great part of Chile), depending on yields and irrigation, of course. This is juicy, fresh and with more depth and complexity. It has more weight, more precision and very good freshness. This is really impressive. The Wine Advocate October 2018
The 2017 vintage of this wine had 30% whole bunches, but this has none, expressing its juicy, crunchy, red cherry fruit with joyous abandon. Focused, crunchy and unoaked, it's a Chilean version of a good Beaujolais.Tim Atkin April 2019
