A wild field blend that shows the rustic brilliance of Chile’s Maule Valley.
Complex nose opens up to fruits, predominantly cherry and raspberry. Mineral notes on the palate are met with a touch of gunpowder, earth, and granite. Refreshing acidity and smooth mouthfeel- a cozy, full, and complex wine.
Enjoy with barbecue, lamb, steak, and firm cheeses.
A fascinating handmade wine with so much earth and spice aromas and flavors. Full body, light tannins and a rich and flavorful finish. So much going on here. Made from bought grapes from small growers mostly in the Caquenes region. Old head pruned vines. Pais, cinsult, carignan, malbec, syrah, portugais bleu. Soulful.James Suckling May 2016
Exotic, perfumed, minty, hinting on eucalyptus, cola nut and dried flowers. It's a multi-grape blend from six old vineyards, some field blends and some with separate varieties. The palate is superbly integrated and compact, very tasty with lively acidity and a mineral finish. Again, this has a marked style/profile, very showy and aromatic. This has to be one of the best values in Chile, a pleasant red that is so easy to drink, it might be dangerous...The Wine Advocate September 2015
Brilliant ruby-red. High-pitched red and dark berry aromas are complemented by suggestions of Asian spices and floral pastilles. Sappy and expansive in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet, spice-laced raspberry and cherry liqueur flavors and hints of succulent herbs and candied flowers. Shows impressive clarity and cut on the incisive finish, which features silky tannins and impressively persistent floral and spicecake notes.Vinous February 2017
