The perfect balance of lime-tinged fruit and natural acidity with a clean, refined finish.
An attractive nose of fresh white flowers and pineapple with hints of mango and passion fruit. The palate is well-balanced with beautiful acidity, lively lime-tinged fruit and a refined, crisp finish.
Pair with grilled calamari, poached lobster, or an asparagus goat cheese tart.
The Garcés Silva family was among the first to plant grapes in Leyda, in 2000. Boya, the family’s second label, has all the attributes that have come to be associated with sauvignon blanc from the region: It’s citric and firm, with a firm texture and lovely herbal and especially fruity notes. The aromas and flavors are influenced by the sea breezes from the Pacific, the austere texture by the granitic soils of the coastal hills. A surprisingly fresh and vibrant 2015.Wine & Spirits June 2016
Bright straw. Intensely perfumed aromas of grapefruit, honeydew and nectarine develop a zesty mineral element as the wine opens up. Silky and sharply focused on the palate, offering nervy citrus fruit and melon flavors braced by a spine of tangy acidity. Clings very nicely on the finish, leaving bitter grapefruit pith and quinine notes behind. This racy Sauvignon Blanc would match perfectly with raw oysters.Vinous February 2017
