Estate Cabernet from one of Napa Valley's oldest winemaking families.
Aromas of cocoa, vanilla and leather come together with hints of dark brambleberry. Flavors of black currant and bright berry balanced with cedar and dusty earth. A luscious texture with gripping spice and a lingering finish.
Try pairing with garlic prime rib, mushroom pizza or turkey and herb stuffing.
The base 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is no entry level wine and offers incredible purity and elegance in its blue fruits, cassis, graphite, and violet-tinged aromas and flavors. This beauty has classic, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon richness, polished tannin, no hard edges, and a great finish. Tasting just like a slightly toned-down version of the Wight Vineyard (Bordeaux lovers will probably prefer this cuvee as it’s slightly more classic in style) it’s a beautiful, layered, multi dimensional Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the coming 15+ years.Jeb Dunnuck December 2017
