This wine’s Burgundian style makes it one of Argentina’s leading and highest-regarded Pinots.
Beautiful garnet color with aromas of wild strawberries, saddle leather and cola root. A complex Pinot with notes of leather, spice, and cherry/raspberry confiture on the palate. Amazing aroma and finishes with an enjoyable Burgundian bent.
Pairs well with foods such as lamb chops, grilled salmon, roasted duck or chicken, and game birds. Pinot lovers may just go ahead and drink it all by itself!
The perfumed and aromatic 2015 Pinot Noir G Lot is produced with fruit from Gualtallary (hence the G name). It has perfect, contained ripeness, keeping the varietal profile but with a mineral, tasty palate with very fine tannins and very good balance. The Wine Advocate December 2016
Moderately saturated red; seemed to take on more color with oxygen. Subtly complex aromas of strawberry, raspberry, rose petal, spices and underbrush. Nicely plump but shapely and fresh too, with ripe red berry and earth flavors given punch by saline minerality. This high-altitude Pinot Noir offers excellent tactile depth of texture and a distinctly savory, firm, long finish.Vinous July 2017
