Estate Cabernet that focuses on terroir diversity and exciting vineyard sites within the historic center of Mendoza winemaking.
The nose shows aromas of red fruits with light notes of chocolate orange rind. The mouthfeel is full and well structured with sweet spice and vanilla notes from the French oak aging, and soft, finely grained tannins with excellent length.
Its structure makes it an ideal pairing for tasty meats with sauces such as mushrooms and truffles.
They used grapes from Luján de Cuyo for the 2016 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, mostly from an old pergola vineyard (Owen) in Agrelo. It fermented with selected yeasts and matured in second use barrels for six to nine months. It's juicy, with character and depth, from a parral with a massal selection. This shows great value. The Wine Advocate June 2018
Bright, dark red. Some floral lift to the aromas of cherry, herbs, leather and tobacco, plus an element of savory minerality. Supple, sweet red fruit flavors are complicated by subtle herb and spice nuances. This moderately concentrated, easygoing wine is savory and nicely balanced, finishing with supple, light tannins and very good length. A very good result for the year.Vinous July 2018
