Vine Connections, our incredible wines and superior sakes!
We are a Sausalito, California-based importer and the exclusive U.S. representative of some of the world's most unique and exciting wines and Japanese sake. We market the world's finest portfolio of boutique wines from Argentina and are the leading US importer of fine Argentinean wines retailing above $10. We also explore other regions of the world, including New Zealand (Marlborough), for wineries creating exciting products on the cutting edge of today's viticultural and wine production practices.
We are also fortunate to represent 13 of Japan's finest ginjo sake breweries . These small, ancient (our youngest is 86 years old!), and traditional family brewers produce some of the world's most delicious premium chilled sake. We proudly market more than 20 premium sake brands in our outstanding portfolio.
Additionally. we represent two incredible boutique California wineries: Lewelling Vineyards, one of Napa Valley's oldest grape growing families (138 years to be exact) and a producer of limited quantities of excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, and we nationally represent the wines of Guy Davis' Russian River Valley-based Davis Family Vineyards. Vine Connections is dedicated to seeking out wineries and winemakers (and in some cases sake brewers) from around the world who show a passion and an intellect for making great wines, and providing them with high quality sales, marketing and distribution support. The wine and sake we represent are from small-volume producers who either demonstrate a distinct skill with a particular varietal, or who represent the cutting edge of philosophies in vineyard management or winemaking in a particular region of the world. In most cases, these producers are just now coming into the spotlight due to a transition of some kind such as a new generation taking over the reins at an old estate, a grower who has decided to make wines rather than sell off his grapes, etc.
Vine Connections works as a true partner with our wine and sake producers, assisting in areas as diverse as packaging, winemaking practices, press relations, and sales & marketing. We only import wine and sake that we represent on a national basis.
At our root is a passion to find the most exciting wine and sake in the world, and then deliver them to the trade and the wine consumer in the most professional manner possible.
